La chirurgie de la presbytie au laser est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e les deux yeux le m\u00eame jour dans le m\u00eame temps op\u00e9ratoire et l\u2019intervention dure une petite vingtaine de minutes avec un temps laser de moins de 30 secondes.<\/p>\n

Le patient va passer environ 1h \u00e0 la clinique, ensuite il est conseill\u00e9 de rentrer chez soi et de rester tranquillement les yeux ferm\u00e9s dans la p\u00e9nombre pendant les 4-5 heures d\u00e9sagr\u00e9ables qui suivent l\u2019intervention, pendant lesquelles le patient ressent du sable dans l\u2019\u0153il avec un larmoiement.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Les suites op\u00e9ratoires d\u2019une chirurgie du cristallin, clair ou cataract\u00e9, avec un implant corrigeant la presbytie en m\u00eame temps que d\u2019autres d\u00e9fauts de vision, est sensiblement similaire \u00e0 celui du laser.<\/p>\n

Cependant le patient ne ressent cette g\u00eane que sur l\u2019\u0153il op\u00e9r\u00e9 puisque la chirurgie du cristallin est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e un \u0153il apr\u00e8s l\u2019autre.<\/p>\n<\/div>

I am Catherine Albou-Ganem<\/a> and I am an ophthalmic surgeon brought up in a family of ophthalmologists. I had a passion for \u2018the eye\u2019 and \u2018the vision\u2019 from my childhood. This was the subject of my first presentation at school.<\/p>\n

Today, I share my refractive surgery activity between the hospital and the private sector.<\/p>\n

I am proud to have contributed to the development of new laser refractive surgery techniques that can correct vision defects with accurate, effective and safe results when respecting the indications.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
