Concernant l\u2019\u00e2ge limite sup\u00e9rieur, cela d\u00e9pend bien \u00e9videmment des souhaits du patient, des donn\u00e9es de l’examen et en particulier de l’\u00e9tat de son cristallin.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Il m’arrive d\u2019 op\u00e9rer au laser des patients \u00e0 65 ans si leur cristallin est encore clair. En effet l\u2019 intervention au laser pour corriger la presbytie autorise une chirurgie bilat\u00e9rale le m\u00eame jour, permet une r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration tr\u00e8s rapide et est plus l\u00e9g\u00e8re qu\u2019une chirurgie endoculaire r\u00e9alis\u00e9e un \u0153il apr\u00e8s l’autre car un peu plus risqu\u00e9e donc demandant un temps de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration plus long.<\/p>\n<\/div>

I am Catherine Albou-Ganem<\/a> and I am an ophthalmic surgeon brought up in a family of ophthalmologists. I had a passion for \u2018the eye\u2019 and \u2018the vision\u2019 from my childhood. This was the subject of my first presentation at school.<\/p>\n

Today, I share my refractive surgery activity between the hospital and the private sector.<\/p>\n

I am proud to have contributed to the development of new laser refractive surgery techniques that can correct vision defects with accurate, effective and safe results when respecting the indications.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
