Concernant l’implant intraoculaire les yeux sont opérés séparément avec environ une semaine ou deux de décalage. Entre les 2 yeux le patient retire le verre de lunettes du côté opéré.
La récupération est rapide mais le résultat ne sera optimal que lorsque les 2 yeux auront été opérés et auront cicatrisé c’est à dire environ 1 mois après la chirurgie du 2ème oeil.
Les patients peuvent cependant mener la majeure partie de leurs activités sans correction dès le lendemain de la chirurgie du 2ème oeil.
